But instead, they just cut programs left and right that had DEI language written into their program docs. If you ever work with government contracts, then you should know that anytime these buzzwords get added, it’s because of the current administration’s preference. This means that a lot of the programs that got cut too were “DEI” in name only. People just copy and paste buzzwords words into their contracts all the time. They have to make the current admin happy at the end of the day.

I believe that investing in people to keep them in check and to lead improvements is the best way to build towards something more productive, making the most out of every tax dollar spent.
I think many people believed that DOGE was going to do just this, where they believed that they’d make the government programs more efficient. But instead, they just cut programs left and right that had DEI language written into their program docs. If you ever work with government contracts, then you should know that anytime these buzzwords get added, it’s because of the current administration’s preference. This means that a lot of the programs that got cut too were “DEI” in name only. People just copy and paste buzzwords words into their contracts all the time. They have to make the current admin happy at the end of the day.
